Hi -- I'm Becca!

I'm a 29-year-old fundraising professional and creative individual based near Chicago, Illinois. I'm so glad you stumbled onto my page. Let me introduce myself a bit further. 

Ever since I was a little girl writing Nancy Drew knock-off novels by hand in my torn up elementary school notebooks, I've loved storytelling. It's only natural that my love of writing continued to flourish into adulthood. I've been blogging since I graduated college in 2016 with my B.A. in English. Though my original post-grad intentions were to go into marketing, I admittedly spent most of my 20s wandering. But really, what else are your 20s for? My creative outlets and professional career took a lot of different shapes and forms before landing on what they are today.

I've created this website (along with my TikTok) as a way to continue writing and fueling my creativity in a way that feels fresh, genuine, and inviting! My goal is to create community, educate others on my unorthodox path towards my current fundraising career, and inspire you to prioritize the things that bring you joy outside of your 9-5.
